Graduate Certificate in Project Management
In the past few years, industries that depend upon those with technical skills have slowly reached a consensus on what now appears to be an indisputable truth -- Project Management is often the single biggest determinant of whether or not an initiative delivers value. Technical skills cannot create value on their own. Projects need to be aligned with the business, and run efficiently. People need to be managed.
Those who have both project management skills and technical expertise have a powerful career combination. They can be counted upon to deliver value.
The Graduate Certificate in Project Management provides a relatively easy path to add these valued skills. It is awarded upon satisfactory completion of a 15-unit curriculum, the equivalent of just one semester of full-time study. Moreover, it is conveniently offered in both a "Part-Time, Evening" format, and an "Accelerated, Weekend Executive" format that limits classroom time to every other Friday afternoon and Saturday.
Pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Project Management also represents a highly efficient way ultimately to earn a Masters of Information Management (MIM) or a Masters of Engineering Management (MEM). All of the coursework can be applied to these degrees!
