MEM Operations Management Focus
Operations is a core function in every type of business, encompassing a broad range of activities, not only manufacturing, but all steps in the overall supply/value chain. These include procurement, inventories, facilities, logistics, and distribution. Operations management is the management of the resources, processes, and systems used to transform inputs into outputs to create customer value. This curriculum focuses on operations principles and techniques used by organizations competing globally while also providing a solid general engineering management background.
