Master of Construction Management
In the past few years, industries like construction, which depend upon those with solid technical skills, have reached a consensus -- Project Management is often the single biggest determinant of whether or not a project comes in on time and on-budget. Both tasks and people need to be carefully managed.
The Master of Construction Management (MCM) Program prepares those in the construction industry for leadership positions requiring strategic decision-making and implementation skills, and the ability to successfully manage resources.
The MCM degree is awarded upon satisfactory completion of the part-time, evening 30-unit curriculum, the equivalent of two semesters of full-time study. Total semester hours depends on the student's undergraduate degree and work experience. Prerequisite course work may be required as a condition of admission to this graduate program. Those candidates admitted with limited work experience may be required to complete 3 additional semester hours participating in an internship program to qualify for graduation.
